The UPST continues to support the UMass Efficiency & Effectiveness (E&E) initiative as it helped save ~21% (26.9M) of the $125M the E&E initiative has helped save for the system. The UPST journey continues as we have identified 50+ cost savings opportunities to be tackled within the next 12-18 months. We still have process improvement projects that address both internal UPST processes and external processes that campus stakeholders will use. These are being driven by the policy harmonization efforts that we are partnering with the campus stakeholders on.
