UPST continues to work with your campus representatives to optimize your purchasing experience in BuyWays. The latest initiative we have concluded with your representatives will be deployed as BuyWays Release 1.0, which will be a major change to how we buy things going forward.
What is included in BuyWays Release 1.0?
- New BuyWays Shopping/Homepage
- Guided buying approach to catalogs
- Guided buying forms for non-catalog purchases
- Standardized exception to competitive procurement (NBJ) process and form
- Automated change order process (terminates use of the 0.99 form)
What is the benefit to me?
This release is targeted at enhancing the purchasing experience for users by streamlining and automating major processes while making it more intuitive for new and experienced users.
It curates and provides links to your major activities thereby reducing the number of clicks you need to perform an activity! You just need to attend our information session to see this!
How can I get help?
We have held detailed, interactive deployment trainings for Dartmouth, President's Office, Boston, and Medical School so far. We will be training Lowell starting August 9th and Amherst starting August 16th. We encourage you, regardless of your campus, to click on the link below to register for trainings or attend the office hours where you can drop in and get your questions answered.
