UPST Updates

The UPST successfully hosted its 1st system-wide UMass Procurement Town Hall on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. The Town Hall was used as a channel to look at UPST’s progress over its 1st 12 months of existence.  During the session, the UPST was able to discuss achievements, planned activities, and major improvement areas. The town hall was kicked off by the SVP A&F and University Treasurer, Lisa Calise, who spoke on the vision and hard work put in by all stakeholders in the formation of UPST and also acknowledged that there is more work ahead for UPST. 

With more than 800+ registrants and 600+ attendees, the session was regarded as a success for the system as a whole. We are grateful for your feedback prior, during, and after the session. You may notice from some of the write-ups in this newsletter your feedback has been incorporated into UPST activities i.e. the more intuitive website, increased proactive engagement of campus stakeholders, frequent and early communication on UPST deployments.
