Explore the Power of Generative AI – Your Smart Assistant for Work and Learning.

Welcome to campusGenAI!

CampusGenAI is a safe, easy-to-use platform for students, faculty, and staff to explore the exciting world of generative AI. But what is generative AI? Simply put, it’s a type of artificial intelligence that can create new content—like writing text, making images, composing music, or even writing code—that looks and feels like something a person made.

What makes campusGenAI special is that it allows you to work with university data securely, which you should not use in public AI models. Just remember to avoid sharing any personal or confidential information while using the platform. For details, please check out the Acceptable Use Guidelines.

You can use campusGenAI for all sorts of helpful tasks, like drafting emails, brainstorming ideas, generating images, or analyzing data. It’s referred to as a “playground” because the features are always improving and changing as the technology gets better.

Managed by UMass Amherst, campusGenAI is here to help you experiment, create, and learn with AI. To dive deeper, visit the campusGenAI About page.
