On all UMPO-owned and managed laptops, there is an application that helps employees access company resources and apps on their devices. On Windows Devices, that app is called Microsoft Company Portal. On Mac laptops, the app is called Self-Service. Think of it as a central hub where you can find and install commonly used apps and/or the default applications for the President’s Office.

You can think of it like an app store just for your work needs. It also helps keep your device secure and ensures you have the right tools for your job. Essentially, it makes it easier for you to manage your work-related apps and settings in one place. On Windows Laptops, Company Portal is located in the Start Menu under the Pinned Applications section, and alphabetically under the C section. On Mac laptops, Self-Service is located in the Applications folder in Finder and, by default, in the Dock at the bottom of your screen.
