The Innovation team worked collaboratively with A&F departments to launch two new optional features available in the University’s Human Resources Information System (which is referred to as HR Direct). These new features will be contained in the “Personal Details” section of the system and are available through Employee Self-Service. Please note that some employees will see two tiles labelled “Personal Details”. You can select either tile.
The new features include:
- Employees will have the additional option of selecting “nonbinary” as one of the options in the sex field.
- Employees will have the option of identifying their pronouns in a new field that has been created for this purpose.
This new functionality is part of a larger system-wide upgrade referred to as the “Inclusive Identity Project”.
