The University of Massachusetts President’s Office is committed to providing equal opportunities in employment, admission to and participation in academic programs, activities, and services, and the selection of vendors who provide services or products to the University through its compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) of 1990.
Qualified individuals with disabilities will receive reasonable accommodations. A qualified individual with a disability is an employee or applicant for employment who can perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation provided by the President’s Office. The essential functions of the job are the major duties of that job or the primary reason the job exists. An employee or applicant with a disability seeking a reasonable accommodation should contact Jacquie Kittler, Assistant Director of Employee Relations at email@example.com or 774-455-7559.
As a measure to eliminate or mitigate barriers for disabled staff and students, the Office of the President has formed an Accessibility Working Group, comprised of staff from HR, Information Technology Services, and University Communications. This group is currently evaluating the tools and processes available to our staff and will update this website accordingly.
