Employees are now able to use the PSLF form fulfillment feature through The Work Number to get their PSLF (Public Service Loan Forgiveness) forms signed by the University. The Work Number is the third-party vendor that UMass uses to complete income and employment verifications.

The site can be accessed directly at https://employees.theworknumber.com.

Employees will need the employer code for UMass which is 18128.

Once logged into The Work Number Employee Portal, employees can self-service access the PSLF form by navigating to The Letters Center and clicking the PDF Icon next to Public Service Loan Forgiveness. Employees will see two Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) numbers listed. One FEIN is for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts/University of Massachusetts and the other FEIN is for University of Massachusetts. Employees may choose either one.

From there, the employee will review their personal data that was prepopulated in five simple steps. Once personal information is validated, the employee can then download and print the form. If an employee attempts to change any information on their form, the employer signature will be removed, and the employee will need to get a manual signature.
