In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, please join the UMass President’s Office DEIA team on May 15 for a workshop on reducing stress and anxiety.
This workshop will be facilitated by two premier UMass Amherst staff: Dr. Karen Whelan-Berry, Director of Faculty Development in the College of Natural Sciences and Paul Papierski, Director of Workplace Learning and Development.
In this workshop, created by Dr. Whelan-Berry, Mr. Papierski and the UMass Amherst Employee Counseling and Consultation Office, you will learn about the stress and anxiety cycle, identify your sources and reactions to general and workplace stress and anxiety, and learn and explore basic tools for reducing stress and anxiety.
