Event Format Update

This event has switched to fully online via Zoom. We will reach out to anyone who originally registered to attend in person. 

This event will be an on-site event at 50 Washington Street and will also be covered live via Zoom. Whether you are a caregiver, a family member, or an older adult, this event will provide practical advice and strategies to enhance the quality of life for older adults, as well as the support needed for their caregivers.

In this session, Marc A. Cohen, Ph.D. a Professor of Gerontology from UMass Boston will cover the following learning objectives:

  • Provide background on Long-Term Services and Supports (LTSS)
  • Understand the role and dimensions of family caregiving for older adults with functional or cognitive limitations
  • Identify key challenges and opportunities for family caregiving supports
  • Discuss specific questions and issues that arise in the caregiving experience
