Contribute to President's Office DEIA efforts through the DEIA Volunteer Program

Dear President’s Office Colleagues,

As many of you are aware, President Meehan recently established an expanded UMass President’s Office Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Team. This 13-member committee includes representation from across the UMPO workforce and is staffed by members of the Human Resources team. The Team is actively working to identify and help implement best practices across the organization with regard to DEIA matters. This will include things like high-quality programs, communications and training.

As we look for ways to collectively increase our impact on our workplace, we want to extend an invitation to all UMPO employees who may be interested in supporting these efforts the opportunity to join our volunteer program. This program will allow you to make meaningful contributions on key DEIA initiatives throughout the year in a number of different ways. Employees can participate regularly or on an ad hoc basis, according to their own schedule. If you are interested in participating in the volunteer program, please take a moment and fill out this DEIA Program Volunteer Form (You will be directed to login in order to complete the form).
