Where to Find Bid Opportunities
UMass posts all bid opportunities on eSourcing platforms. These are the official sources for all available UMass bids:
- General Bids: UMass Sourcing Portal
- Construction Bids: Biddocs Online
Both platforms are free to register and use. Also, you can stay informed about new opportunities by following UPST on LinkedIn, where we share non-construction bid postings and interesting updates about our sourcing initiatives.
Getting Ready to Bid
Since you're already a UMass supplier, you are ready to go!
- Use your existing UMass Supplier Profile to access and submit bids on either platform
- Bid registration and submission are completely free
- Review the Sourcing Portal User Guide for platform-specific guidance and best practices
Submitting Your Bid
When you find an opportunity that's a fit, keep these requirements in mind:
- All bids must be submitted through the UMass eSourcing platforms — hard copies will not be accepted
- Deadlines are strictly enforced; any bid not received by the posted deadline will not be considered
- You may or may not be asked to submit a total amount; if not required, your submitted bid documents will be used for evaluation
