Introduction
SPARC Service was developed to provide selected campus users, especially those in Controller or campus finance/HR/admin roles, with insights into case management data from the President's Office. The data reflects the President’s Office support of campus administration and finance services, including UPST, Treasury, Controller, HR and the Employee Services Team.
Our Goal
The primary aim of SPARC Service is to facilitate a better understanding of the questions and issues directed to the President's Office. As the service transitions to a broader user base, ongoing feedback and development will be key to its success.
Development and Data Overview
Following the completion of User Acceptance Testing (UAT), the SPARC Service dashboard is now accessible within a specific folder structure. The data, updated in real-time from Salesforce, ensures timely and relevant insights. Migration of the data source to a production environment is planned, focusing on performance optimization.
Access Management and Training
Access to the SPARC Service is initially restricted to ensure data security and integrity. Comprehensive training sessions will be organized to familiarize users with the dashboard functionalities and features.
Next Steps
The next phase involves identifying pilot users, granting them production access, and engaging with them for onboarding and feedback collection. This feedback will be critical in refining the service and extending its benefits to a wider audience.
