The University of Massachusetts President's Office Department of Academic Affairs, Student Affairs and Equity will be visiting the UMass Boston campus on Monday, August 4, 2025 from 10:00a.m. - 11:00a.m. in the Chancellor's Conference Room (3rd floor, Quinn).
As part of our commitment to strengthening relationships across the UMass system, we are visiting each campus to reintroduce our team, share our strategic priorities, and highlight how we are organized to better support the University’s mission.
During this session, we will provide an overview of the AASAE unit, including key personnel and our areas of focus:
Welcome and Introduction – Nef Walker, Senior Vice President
Academic Affairs & Research – Dr. Gabriela Weaver, Assistant Vice President
Equity & Access – Sheree Ohen, Assistant Vice President
Strategic Data Intelligence – Tom Beraldi, Assistant Vice President
Following the team introduction, we will officially launch Project Zeno, a new systemwide data mart focused on student data. Tom Beraldi will lead a presentation on its development and future impact.
