Ms. Kroncke is the Executive Director of the University of Massachusetts Building Authority. She manages a portfolio of over $3 billion of debt.
The Building Authority is currently working on over 30 active construction projects, acquisitions and development opportunities, each designed to improve teaching, learning and student life at the Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, and Medical School campuses of the University. Ms. Kroncke, works together with the University President, Martin T. Meehan, the Board of Trustees, the Building Authority board and the campuses to deliver cost-effective, sustainable and high-quality construction of world class buildings to support the mission of the University.
Prior to joining the Building Authority, Ms. Kroncke was the Managing Partner of the Boston office of McCarter & English and Chair of the Public Finance Practice Group. Her practice was primarily in the area of public finance and public and private projects, acquisitions and development. Ms. Kroncke also advised clients on all aspects of capital financing and in particular, on the issuance and sale of tax-exempt and taxable securities.
