Douglas Berthiaume is the retired chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Waters Corporation, a Milford, Mass.-based company specializing in analytical instruments sold primarily to the life science and pharmaceutical industries.
He is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and received an Honorary Doctor of Laws Degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2005. He is chairman of the Boston Children’s Hospital Board of Trustees, a member of the Boston Children’s Hospital Trust Board, and a founding director of the University of Massachusetts Amherst Foundation Inc. Mr. Berthiaume resides in Andover with his wife, Diana, and his daughters, Maggie and Abigail.
