Whenever possible, please use UMass negotiated discounts for Airfare, Hotels, and Ground Transportation. Negotiated discounts, as well as the lowest available fares, are only accessible through our preferred agencies. By supporting our contracted vendors, it will better position the University in future contract negotiations.
Airfare
It is the responsibility of the traveler to obtain the most economical airfare available consistent with the purpose of the trip. Whenever possible, travelers should take advantage of discounts and purchase airline tickets in advance.
Hotels
Travel Program has access to low rates at thousands of hotels, as well as University negotiated rates. Rates can be accessed through the Egencia booking tool or via a Travel Collaborative booking agent.
Ground Transportation
Employees and non-employees traveling on University business are expected to choose the most economical mode of transportation that meets the traveler's scheduling and business needs and University policy.
Parking
Employees may use personal cars a university vehicle. Please find the parking information for our local airports below.
