The 24X7 Operations Center provides a real-time system, security and transaction level monitoring to ensure high service availability, optimal performance, and swift problem resolution.

The UITS Web Services team manages the development and configuration of the main Office of the President websites, Massachusetts.edu and UMassp.edu.
Eduroam is a secure, world-wide wireless roaming service utilized by the international research and education community.
The University uses the Huron ecrt system to certify the distribution of effort for all employees paid from federal and federal flow-through funds.
The UITS Web Services team provides electronic documentation accessibility training to web content editors and other department staff who create electronic documentation (e.g., reports, forms, etc.).
The University uses the PeopleSoft Finance System to manage financial transaction entry and reporting in one unified system, including general ledger, budgeting, asset management, and grant management.
RMS is a dormitory management software package. The new generation of this application is called Mercury, which will eventually replace RMS.
The University uses PeopleSoft Human Capital Management to manage and process human resource data from employees to managers to persons of interest.
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) team implements and supports Identity-related applications and services.
The University (all campuses and UITS) supports the Digital Integration Program through the suite of Dell Boomi integration tools to facilitate collaboration and shared development. These tools can be used for APIs, database integrations, and file transfers. UITS is a Center of Excellence for this Program, providing campuses support with development, infrastructure, and vendor management. By request, UITS can also host campus instances and provide PaaS functions such as installs, patches, and monitoring.
The Office of the General Counsel and the University Treasurer's Office at the Office of the President uses the Legal Files system as an online case management tool.
UITS manages the core administration of the multi-factor authentication for Amherst, Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, the Medical School, and the Office of the President.
UITS maintains an Office 365 for Education license for the Office of the President. All Office of the President employees can utilize Office 365, including OneDrive and SharePoint.
Persona is an offline room locking software package used by the Lowell campus that interfaces with RMS data and a Lenel feed (Student access ID card data) from the campus.
The Project Management Office (PMO) provides project management resources and expertise to lead University projects successfully through all phases.
UMass Boston, Dartmouth, and Lowell use the R25 system to handle room scheduling and event management software.
UITS provides support and maintenance of Oracle Campus Solutions and integration with campus systems.
Boston, Dartmouth, and Lowell use Terra Dotta to manage the receipt, processing, and authorization for study abroad applications by students both within and outside of the UMass System.
The University uses Summit as its primary reporting system. This web-based system provides a full range of reporting and analysis tools, from interactive dashboards to ad hoc reports.
Sunapsis, developed by Indiana University, is the industry leading software for case management and regulatory compliance for International Student, Visitor, and Employee populations.
Travel Registry uses the Terra Dotta software for the registration of staff/faculty travel on University-affiliated business.
UMass Boston uses u.achieve to track a student's academic progress toward degree or certificate completion.
The University uses the SciQuest eProcurement system as an online catalog and ordering system.
UMASSNET is a statewide high capacity network that provides campus-to-campus and external ISP connectivity to the various UMass campuses and to their core service sites.
The UMSO Help Desk provides Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM Tier 1 support to UMSO staff. Limited off hours support is provided by the 24x7 Operations Center.
The UITS Web Services team provides universal design training to developers that includes an overview of the WCAG 2.0 AA Guidelines, review of accessibility semi-automated testing tools, and manual testing product installation and instructions.
