You may have trouble receiving push requests if there are network issues between your phone and the Duo service.
Many phones have trouble determining whether to use the WiFi or cellular data channel when checking for push requests and simply turning the phone to airplane mode and back to normal operating mode again often resolves these sort of issues if there is a reliable internet connection available. Similarly, the issue may be resolved by turning off the WiFi connection on your device and using the cellular data connection. Should neither of these actions help, follow these instructions to reactivate Duo mobile.
- Using the Duo Self Service link on the Connect To page, login with your umassp credentials and authenticate via Duo using an existing device (landline or mobile device).
- Select your Device Options from the UMSO Duo Device Management page.
- Click the Reactivate Duo Mobile button if you need to get Duo Push working on your phone. For example, if you replaced your phone with a new model but kept the same phone number. After answering some questions about your device, you'll receive a new QR code to scan with your phone, which will complete the Duo Mobile activation process.
