Developer ADA Training

When developing products or services in house, developers should follow the universal design methodology.  Universal design was coined by the architect Ronald L. Mace to describe the concept of designing all products and the built environment to be aesthetic and usable to the greatest extent possible by everyone, regardless of their age, ability, or status in life (Wikipedia.org).

When designing a solution with accessibility in mind, you are in fact following the principles of Universal Design as anything that's developed in adherence with accessibility standards will also improve the usability for all students, faculty, and staff.
