Charles J. Pagnam is the Vice President for Advancement of the University of Massachusetts and Executive Vice President of the University of Massachusetts Foundation, a private non-profit corporation that promotes private support for the University, supports the fundraising efforts of the five campuses, serves as a repository of contributions and manages the University’s endowment.
Mr. Pagnam joined the University of Massachusetts in 2007 to lead development for the UMass Medical School and its clinical partner, UMass Memorial Health Care. He also served as chief executive of the UMass Memorial Foundation. Mr. Pagnam joined UMass from Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he served as Senior Vice President for Development. Prior to joining Mount Sinai in 2005, Mr. Pagnam spent 27 years at Yale University, the last seven as the Vice President for Development. He is a graduate of Nichols College in Dudley, Massachusetts.
