U$ave

The University of Massachusetts U$ave program is pleased to bring to the University’s primary constituents-the campuses and their students, faculty, and staff-the third generation of the U$ave purchasing program. This purchasing program, originally conceived and launched in 2002, takes advantage of the volume purchasing power of all five University campuses and returns substantial discounts to the purchaser

We encourage you to do your institutional computer shopping through these contracts to take full advantage of the substantial savings you will find here. The prices are the best available for the models and configurations that have the UMass-specified features. If you have any questions about the recommended models, please contact the appropriate vendor, or contact your campus representatives.

University Agreements

  • U$ave Desktop/Mobile Computing Agreements:  A competitive bidding process conducted by the University President’s Office in collaboration with all five campuses has resulted in a new contract award for desktop and mobile computers to Dell Inc. The award is from April 1, 2015 through March 31, 2018.
  • Apple Educational Agreement:  The University receives educational pricing for both Institutional and Personal purchases through the Apple Education Store. Campuses who setup authenticated stores (requiring a campus ID) can receive further discounts.
